Profiles Performance Indicator

PPI

The Profiles Performance Indicator™ is a DISC type assessment that reveals an individual’s job performance and aspects of their personality that could impact their fit with their manager, co-workers and team. It is used primarily for motivating and coaching employees and resolving post-hire conflict and performance issues. The PPI is a convenient tool that takes approximately 20 minutes to complete online.

The output from this assessment:

  • helps the individual to identify and make full use of their strengths and to develop an awareness of any areas that could be limiting their effectiveness, thus facilitating the achievement of greater success.
  • serves as a “manager’s operating manual” for an employee, which helps managers better motivate, coach, and communicate with the employee.
  • helps to predict and minimize conflict among co-workers,
  • provides crucial information for improving team selection and performance.

For Individuals
The PPI assesses individuals on 8 primary behavioral characteristics. These include Productivity, Quality of Work, Initiative, Teamwork, Problem Solving, Adapting to Change, Response to Stress, and Work Motivation.

The results are presented in a Management Report, a Personal Report, and a Graph Report.

  • The Management Report – to support the individual’s manager to appreciate their subordinate’s compatibility with the demands of their position. Presents valuable information for developing training programs.
  • The Personal Report – individuals can learn more about themselves, their strengths, and their weaknesses. This knowledge is important to them as they develop the strategies necessary to meet the demands and challenges of achieving success.
  • The Graph Report – the findings of the PPI are presented using five Scales which describe the characteristics inherent in the individual. The Graph Report provides a graphic representation of the score for each scale rating with a brief description of the individual.

For Teams
Well-informed team leaders develop successful teams because they have essential information about themselves and every member of the team.

The PPI effectively analyzes a team made up of a leader and up to 12 team members. The team leader and the team members are measured on 8 behavioral characteristics important for team success. In addition, 12 critical factors are considered for building effective teams. Individuals ranking high in a characteristic are identified so the team leader can quickly see the team’s strengths and weaknesses. These are presented using five Scales which describe the characteristics inherent in the higher scoring individuals. The team leader is also provided with specific suggestions for capitalizing on each team member’s strengths.

The results are presented in a Team Analysis Report containing the sections: Team Analysis, Team Action Summary, and a Team Balance Table.
